No Surf will once again occur in Cleveland. There will be three divisions: open elite, open, and women’s. Of course there will be the usual tournament amenities and tournament party. Team announcement will occur on May 31, with payment in full expected by June 1st. This looks to be the most competitive and well run No Surf yet. Bids should be submitted to Tim Meyers with the following information: Requested Division, Team Name, Last Year Finish, and a small blurb why you deserve to be in the requested division.

CAPTAINS MEETING FOR ALL TEAMS  WILL BE AT 7:30 AM ON SATURDAY ONLY ALL GAMES MUST BE PLAYED. IF YOU FORFEIT A GAME YOUR TEAM WILL BE BANNED FROM THE NEXT NO SURF.

Proceeds will be split between our usual charity Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland and the Rima Williams-Boncha Memorial Fund. Rima passed away last year at the age of 27 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Rima was the president of the CDA and along with her husband Jeremiah Boncha is responsible for the growth of the ultimate in the greater Cleveland area. It is the hope of the CDA to raise enough funds to build memorials in her honor at two locations. Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Polo Fields where the annual No Surf tournament is held.
